How and when can I register?
The registration for the year 2026 event is closed.
Stand places at the event will be sold yearly in autumn by Tamko and our student clubs and associations via email. We sell stand places to event by e-mail, but you can also register your company directly via porttityoelamaan.fi website, after we update year 2027 event registration links.
What does the participation fee include?
The participation fee for the year 2026 event includes one day's participation in the event from 10 am to 3 pm, stand space, internet, electricity, lunch and coffee tickets for two company representatives, as well as visibility and advertising on Tamko's social media channels and on campus.
What is included in the stand?
The stand includes approx. 2 m long table or two for a special price, which is also the width of the stand. The depth of the stand space varies, as the venue is located in the lobby of TAMK's main campus, which has e.g. poles, which can affect the size of the stands.
The location of the stand will be drawn and you will find out the exact location on the day of the event at our information desk. If you wish, you can get chairs at the stand and approx. 120 cm wide gray screen on wheels, to which you can attach e.g. job announcements.
When is the participation fee paid?
The Student Union of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Tamko) will invoice your participation in the event only after the event.
If there have been changes to the invoicing information you provided during the registration phase, or if you want to complete matters related to the invoicing, please contact us at: porttityoelamaan@outlook.com
Can I cancel my participation?
The cancelling terms are visible when you register and they have to be accepted when registering for the event.
How about electricity and internet at the event?
Each stand has a socket. You can bring your own extension cord if you need electricity for several different devices.
You can find the TAMK visitor network ID's from the fair info packet received at the event day from info desk.
How about social media?
The official hashtag of the event is #porttityoelamaan / #gatewaytoworklife and we hope that you use the hastag on all of your updates related to the event so that your company and the event itself get the best possible visibility. How should I prepare for the event?
Opportunities for Students
The most common questions students ask at the event typically include at least the following:
-
What does your company do?
-
What opportunities do you offer for students?
-
Which year of study do I need to be in to apply?
You may already have an elevator pitch about your company in mind. In addition, we recommend listing the opportunities your company offers to students, for example behind QR codes or on posters. It is also helpful if you know which year students are eligible for potential job or internship positions.
What to bring with you?
Each exhibitor will be provided with a table of approximately 2 meters, or two tables for an additional fee, which you are encouraged to decorate in an appealing way. This means your company brochures, posters, roll-ups, and merchandise are welcome. Students also appreciate various giveaways, such as overall patches, candies, and similar items!
There will likely be a lot of talking during the event, so we also recommend bringing a water bottle with you.
